Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Doze collects, how it is used, and what choices you have as a user.

1. Summary

Doze is a local-first app. All health data you enter — injections, weight, side effects, and settings — is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud container. We have no server, no account system, and no ability to read your data.

2. Data we collect

We collect no personally identifiable information. Doze uses:

• Local SQLite database — stores your injections, weight, and settings on-device.
• iCloud CloudKit (private zone) — syncs your data between your own Apple devices. No one but you has access to this data.
• Apple HealthKit — if you enable Health sync, the app reads weight, calories, steps, etc. from your Health app. This data never leaves your device except via your personal iCloud.
• RevenueCat — handles App Store purchases for Doze+. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous device ID to verify purchase status. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

3. Data we do NOT collect

• We do not create user accounts.
• We do not send your health data to any servers.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data.
• We do not use tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or analytics tools that send data to third parties.

4. Apple Health

If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Doze requests read access for weight, height, body fat, calories, protein, water, fiber, carbohydrates, fat, and steps. You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Apps.

Data from HealthKit is used solely to display information in the app and never leaves your device via Doze.

5. iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, Doze syncs your data via a private CloudKit container. Apple encrypts this data in transit and at rest. The Doze team has no ability to read or access your iCloud data.

You can disable iCloud sync for Doze in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

6. Children

Doze is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For material changes, we will publish an updated version here with a new date. Continued use of the app after publication constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
